Can a person really change completely overnight?

This man is not going to change. He...and I am sorry to say this to you...is a bad person at heart. He is miserable for some reason and takes it out on other people and makes other people like you and your family feel miserable and that probably makes him happy. That is wrong. I have kind of been there and after years of being SO unhappy, left him and he begged and begged and cried and promised to change, but I am so happy w/o him and after I left him I gained a whole new type of confidence in myself. He made me feel so ugly and before I knew it I had gained 40 pounds and did not realize it, but after I was done with him I told myself I was beautiful and had to be strong for my daughter and I did just that I lost those 40 pounds. I found a wonderful man that I am still with and have a baby on the way and I would not want it any different. Your ex does not deserve you and you and your family do not deserve that sort of mental abuse. He will not change, my ex didnt..he is getting re-married and I KNOW that he cheats on her just like he did me b/c he has told me so. Let you ex stay that way and what goes around comes around.....dont go back please, stay strong..I know its hard, but do it for yourself first that way you can be there for your family...best of luck!
