Second date went really well, so why is he not contacting me 2 days after?

This guy I really like - we had our 2nd date the other night and he hasn't tried to contact me via email, text, phone call...zip zilch nothing. I KNOW he is totally into me. First because he said "when you told me how you like coen brothers on our first date, that's when I started to have a crush on you"...and he does other things like looks at me in the eyes and touches me on the back, shoulder - cute things like that. We haven't done anything physical at all so maybe he likes me only in a platonic way, but then again he's all about paying for everything when we go out. I'm trying to figure out what's going on but don't want to make the first move with texting him because I'll come off as looking desperate or something? Sooo guys what's the deal with this dude? Do you think he digs me or not? Should I wait a few days and if he still hasn't contacted me- should I just write him off and forget about it? Even though i've never connected with someone that much and i'm sure he must've felt that too.
