while I cannot comment on your choice of a business model, I will suggest that you consider adding 'super glue' as an added wound closure armament-remember, most health professionals are going to have a lot more instrumentation, and non-professionals may not know how to use what you are including-the most important component of wilderness medicine is training, not armamentarium....make sure you include a rudimentary explanation of how to use anything you include...good luck, and yes, there are several companies doing what you are suggesting.
