Does Black belt in Blackjack work?

well i recently had an interest card counting and have never tried it out i don't know anything about it. i want to buy Black Belt in Blackjack by Arnold Snyder the book and want to know if is easy to learn and will it teach you how to count cards. Would it be a good book for me a beginner
