How can I get a court summon dismissed ?.....10 points for best answer !?

OK, my daughter's father is taking me to court for visitation. His friend came up to my car when I was outside and gave me a letter, when I opened it, it was a court summon for visitation. My best friend told me I can get it dismissed because he didn't properly give me the letter. I also asked his friend who he is and he said his name is don ramirez, a false name! Is there anyway I can go to court and say I wasn't properly summoned to get it dismissed. Please help me in detail as to what I can do to get this crap dismissed......10 points for best answer.
