Ugg boots got wet in snow what do i do?

I got ugg boots for christmas, they are dark brown & look like the original ones but with 3 ons.. These are my first ugg boots... Recently we had a snow storm were I live & honestly I though ugg boots were snow boots so I wore them to play in the snow..my friend sees me wearing them after we get inside and she's like are you stupid? U can't wear them in the snow they'll get ruined ansd I just ignored her cause I thought she was lieying well the next day the uggs were all shriveled up and wrinkley and the color faded a little ... Its been like 2 weeks now and I haven't done anything I'm scared to ruin them... If I buy ugg sheepskin care kit will that help? If not what should I do then to get them back to normal?
